145 Clapperton

The 145 Clapperton project is a new 10-unit purpose-built rental development in Barrie, Ontario, with a gross floor area of approximately 11,100 sq. ft. The project is targeting points under the CMHC MLI Select program to support affordable housing initiatives.

Pratus provided pre- and post-construction energy modelling in accordance with NECB 2017 and CMHC requirements, delivering compliance reports, simulation files, and attestation forms. In addition, Pratus supported OBC SB-10 compliance at the building permit stage, coordinating with the design team to ensure all mandatory requirements were met.

Our role focused on optimizing energy performance while helping the project meet both regulatory and funding program requirements, ensuring a streamlined path through approvals and certification.
