60 Caledon Avenue, Hamilton, ON, CA
The development includes four blocks of back-to-back townhouses (58 units), two eight-storey apartment buildings (264 units), and a centralized Kiwanis and Victoria Park Community Garden, accessible to the public. In total, the project provides 322 non-profit housing units, supported by 257 surface-level parking spaces, addressing the community’s need for sustainable and affordable living spaces. The goal was to create an environmentally sustainable, safe, and age-friendly community that enhances social and economic vitality. Located at the top of the escarpment, the design was carefully planned to seamlessly integrate into the surrounding urban landscape, ensuring it fits harmoniously within the community fabric.
